The PrecisionWave Signal Analyzer strictly follows the SDR (Software-Defined Radio) concept. High-quality I/Q data from a suitable test receiver serves as the input. Synchronization, channel equalization, demodulation, channel decoding, and measurements of all relevant parameters, as well as the generation of statistics and graphs, are performed in software, starting with complex baseband samples.
Advanced digital signal processing algorithms enable robust and precise measurements in both stationary and mobile environments and are independent of manufacturer-specific codes. For this reason, the software is capable of measuring, for example, the specific “coverage margin” parameter.
